Walleyes

When walleyes are in egg form there are approximately 50,000 eggs per pound. In four weeks, they will be approximately one inch long and approximately 2,000 fish per pound. At harvest time, they can be as big as 5 or 6 per pound. From May to mid-October their size has increased by a factor of nearly 10,000. Click on photo for larger view.
